Specialized and Collaborative Home Opportunities Of Learning
We are currently working, living, and learning in an interesting time. I hope everyone is doing well as you cope with the situation, and I hope this site helps you and your child with their learning. I will post the daily assignments and activities below, as well as other suggested activities from the school specialists (ie. Music, French, PE, Southern Tutchone).
In addition, I plan to post Zoom schedules (for Assignment help and Class Meetings) and updates that keep you informed about 6M and general school activities. Please check this page daily, as I hope to use it (and emails) as the main source of information for families. Best wishes to all of you and hang in there 6M'ers!

Wednesday, January 12th
Please work on the following today...
1. Finish the Math, LA, and Socials assignments from the last two days. Remember that the word picture puzzle and expression riddle (Why was the coin falling asleep?) are optional/bonus; you don't have to do them. If you get stuck on a question, skip it, or contact me for help. Please don't stress if you don't understand something. We'll take care of it when you get back to class.
2. Keep reading! I would like you to read 20+ minutes each day. Once you have finished a book, you can complete a book summary/report. You can download a copy here.

3. Work on your country project. Remember that you need to create a country booklet with at least 6 paragraphs, a data box, and fun facts. Your 6 paragraphs need to come from your research (yellow package and white sheet). Choose 6 out of the following 12 categories from your research (Location, Geography, Government, Flag, Population, Additional Information, Climate, Language, Food & Drink, Religion & Leisure, Economy, and Inquiry), and write a paragraph for each category. DO NOT WORRY or STRESS OUT! I just want you to try to write a country paragraph each day, That's it!
4. Keep moving! Go outside for a walk, play a sport, dig a snow cave, go for a run or ski. Have a dance party with your parents. Just stay active and try to get outside for a healthy dose of fresh air.
5. Listen to music! I would prefer if you stuck with the classics from the 60's to the 90's, but just listen to something.
6. Stay in contact! We are zooming everyday at 10:00am and 1:00pm. It's a great chance for you to check in, and share some cheesy jokes.
